Hope all goes well and you will banging away at the keyboard before you know it.
Here's to them what are like us. Damn few and they're all dead.
Good luck with the procedure, hope you're back to 100% in a blink.
Here's to a speedy recovery!
Too much table tennis Keith....get well soon mate.
Neil
See you on the Dark Side......
Hoping your recovery goes well and swiftly.
Rest, fluids (no beer ) and follow the doctors instructions.
We'll be here for you.

Heal quick, heal strong! Hope you're back in the saddle sooner rather than later - as Karl says, follow the doctor's orders!
All the best,
Matt
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Best wishes for a rapid recovery Keith but make sure you do not try to do too much too soon.
Hope the operation went better than planned.
Thanks everyone.
The op went well and everything looks good. I've got a large "soft cast" on and multiple layers of slings on. They did a nerve block, so I have absolutely no feeling in my entire right arm... for now. I'm sure tomorrow will be different! Using the mouse left handed is much easier than I thought it would be. Typing is a different story. My left hand flies over words that are all typed with that side, but stumbles with right handed and mixed handed words. lol.
I'd never do too much too soon. I waited 10 hours before firing up the laser and making some products.
All the best Keith - here's to a rapid and full recovery
Ug, no fun.
Maybe get one of them newfangled head-banging keyboards?
Glad you started this so I can add my best wishes. Hope you get back soon and have a good holiday season.
Glad everything went well, Keith.
Be a good boy and don't push it ...
I have a feeling I am going to be in a similar boat within the next few months.
Going to try physio first, though, in January. Would not want to be in a cast over Christmas / New Years.
In the meantime it's ibuprofen, acetaminophen, naproxen in various combinations ....
Hope the recovery goes as planned and everything is not too inconvenient.
Cheers
I am glad that your operation seems to have gone well. Best wishes for your speedy recovery, Keith.
Fine the progress is OK. Crossing fingers for full recovery soon
Great to hear all went well, Herr Oberst! Ease yourself back into the flow - hope you have a few days off from the real job after this procedure...
All the best,
Matt
glad it went well! heres to a speedy recovery!
Not even a Panto PeteWould not want to be in a cast over Christmas / New Years.
I'm learning to fly, but I ain't got wings
Coming down is the hardest thing
Good to hear the news Heer Oberst.
We are coping in your absence, and you will soon be back to normal. Meantime you can always hold the reins between your teeth.
All the best Rob.

Sounds like good news. As we all recommend, take it easy.
Thanks everyone. Yesterday was a pretty good day. Was finally able to wiggle my fingers, but still no pain. I also managed to sleep for 10 hours last night (I normally only sleep 5 hours a night). I did wake up with the first signs of pain from the actual surgery though. Not too bad, but noticeable.
Having the cast/sling on over Christmas is not ideal, but much better for me than the spring or summer. Too much work to do around the property when the weather is nice.
Good to hear Boss, glad to hear you're on the mend - maybe a few snifters in the Mess will help ease the pain

Sounds like things are getting better Keith, hope all continues to improve, all the best to you
Any chance for a Purple Heart?
Wish you a speedy recovery. A one-handed pilot is no solution.
Voilą le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Glad to hear you're on the mend, Herr Oberst.
Here's hoping it continues smoothly and quickly.
