With a perfect formation the bombers approach the coast.


During the middle part of the battle when the fighters reached the bombers, I forgot to take pictures, so here is the rest after the fighters Immelmanned back to hit the bombers.

Then the Lancaster goes down, not even completing its mission, to do damage assessment.

Then the green B-17 goes down just managing to unload its bombs on its target.


The bombs hit doing horrific damage.

The last B-17 manages to survive two more rounds before going down, without dropping its bombs.

Daniel (me) One ME 109 K-4 and One ME 110 C-4

B-17s and Lancaster on formation movement, (where they move in the most direct line towards the target, then go for home)

The Game ended with all of the German planes heavily damaged, and all the Allied planes shot down, so this game ended with an Axis victory.

We did the historical twelve five hundred pound bombs for the B-17s, at two Ds per bomb, if they hit.
