Default Austro Hungarian v Geman Built Albatossessssssss

I read that the A/H albatros was a quicker plane than its Geman equivalent. If you wanted to represent this in a game (and its a big IF) would upgrading a D.III from a J deck to a B deck be a fair representation. Just a thought that crossed my mind!!!!!! Discuss

In the unofficial aircraft stats they have the Oeffag made Albatros 153 as a B deck and the 253 as an A deck.
So yes, that would be fair.

Strangely, the subject of a new video on You Tube.

One account that I read was that the aircraft was so popular after WW1 that American pilots flying with the anti-Bolshevik Polish air force wrote to the Austrians congratulating them on the strength of the aeroplane. The Austro-Hungarian D.IIIs certainly had a longer career than the German ones!
