With one plane down each, one recovered RAF airman, and one German PoW.
The objective having not been achieved, it was declared a victory for Captain Kiwi's boys.

Von Kytel must await the chance to revenge himself.

Excellent Wing Co - thoroughly enjoyed that. Good fight, nice scenery, lovely photos and an entertaining read. What more could be asked for REP inbound

Nice little bun fight over the ditch Rob.
They used to run those boats out of Newhaven, they were still there (or modern versions of them) when I was a kid.

A brave effort from some poor outmatched Germans!

    Luftflotte Helmut would be proud.

I love the White Cliffs scenery!

    Thanks chaps.

von Kytel also thanks Luftflotte Helmut.

The rematch will be next month at Chez Kiwi.

Great AAR and scenery. Von Kytel seems to have a charmed life with minor damage where as the others all suffered a lot! Love the launch model. What is that Laser gizmo you are using instead of a ruler?

Great report of the scrap but the white cliffs are brilliant, are these from your sails of glory set up?

Nice tussle. Almost legible damage chits, too.

Great action and a lot of cool extras.
As others have said, your White Cliffs look terrific, and the launch is a nice looking model.
I also like the way you handle the hitting of the silk as well.
Nice to see those custom cards in action - I remember you getting them a while back. Much easier to read than the tiny chits.

Thank you for the great AAR, Rob. I like your White Cliffs of Dover backdrop and the air-sea rescue launch. I notice also that you have enlarged the damage chits to card size.

Your laser pointer might be a good 'special effect' to use in the Battlestar Galactica game.

There is a large plaque on the quayside at Gorleston-on-Sea near Great Yarmouth, Norfolk as a tribute to the crews of the R.A.F. air-sea rescue launches, which sailed from there.

    Hi Gary.

This is the Laser pen. It is for artillery fire line of sight for wargames cannon and unlike a normallaser shoots a beam out sideways.

Great AAR, I liked how you got the pilots to hit silk. Where did you get the cards for the parachutes, and the raft?

Great AAR Rob, and I echo everyone's comments... the cliffs look fantastic, and those damage chit cards are firmly in the "wish I had" category.

If they did not go down in the big hack, they should be somewhere in the files.
If you cant find them let me know.

What a top little set too that was Rob!
    Great scenario, Backdrop & 3 D launch.
Nice touch with the Laser pointer. I used one of those back in the 40K days.

    Rep on its way!
