    Default zvezda 1/200 scale models

I was looking at a website and I found 5 models that are 1/200 scale and I am thinking of converting them for use in my wings of glory collection. the5 models are a JU-88, JU-52, BRISTOL BLENHEIM, LI-2 and an SB-2. haven't ordered them any ideas? all planes are snap fit with easy assembly and seem pretty tough

    Hi Esa,

Hobbyrama at Stafford stocks 1/200 Zvezda models. They are glue together hard plastic and look quite good. I have a couple of Ju 52s, a Ju 88 and two Soviet SB-2, my completed heavily weathered Eastern Front Ju 52 below:

Oberst Hajj will sell you bases for the models in the Aerodrome Store.

Sadly, the Blenheim models do not have the under nose barbette, even though it is pictured on the box. If you want a barbette, you will have to make it yourself.

I have the JU88,s and the Blenheim,s which work quite well on the table.
I have some JU52's and the Dakota look-a-like to build when I can find the time.
The Blenheims are great head on against Bf 110,s.

I have a number of the ZVEZDA models. It has been posted before but they have a game and that is what the models were made for. Tanks are 15mm (1/100), infantry is 1/72, single engine planes are 1/144 and twin engine planes are 1/200. I have a number of their kits but like the Ju52 and IL 2's which I have as C-47's. They are nice kits and cheap.

Love those Ju 52's you guys did.

Here are the C-47's. I have to get the decals on the one and take new photos. Thanks for the inspiration.

Warlord Games repackages these same models as minis for their Blood Red Skies game. I bought some of the Junkers 88 models. Wingspan of about 4-5 inches. They look decent enough, and are easy to put together.
