Thread: Another loss

    Default Another loss

Just heard today that a WWII fighter crashed in Texas. I found out it was a P-51 and the pilot and passenger were killed in the crash. Turns out the pilot gave free rides in his plane and the passenger was a WWII vet who was the pilot of a B-17 in WWII. Thoughts to the families of both. I guess you have to think that they died doing what they loved doing...flying.

    How sad.
Thoughts go out to both families of the victims.

Always sad to hear of a Warbird crash especially when lives are lost.

very sad to loose the vet, the pilot, and the vintage aircraft. rip. he crashed in the parking lot of an apt complex. one wonders if, when the crash became inevitable, he chose there to avoid hitting a crowded apt complex.
