    Default 100 Independence Anniversary

On that very day, November 11th 1918, when the guns were silenced after the Great War, my home Country, Poland, regain it's independence after 4 generations (123 years) of no existence.
Today we celebrate the Independence Day with joy and proud, looking forward with trust, standing fast with our allies in Europe and the World.
Join me chaps for a drink in the Mess. Drinks are on Polish pilots all day and night long!

    Cheers.

Russia, Austria & Prussia used the turbulences of the French Revolution.

Unfortunately the Poles weren't able avoid this.

It's all very complicated - but I'm more than happy to drink a toast - to freedom and friendship.

Andy, I have seen an ad on TV, here in the states, where Polish vets are wishing US vets a happy veterans day. In the ad they mention that it is the Polish Independence day and that is the reason they are thanking the US for their independence. So Happy Independence day to all my Polish friends and maybe some relatives.
