The War Continues

For our game last night we used the week 26 scenario where a rogue bomber is attacking the peace train. Due to there only being 2 players we substituted a DH4 for the Gotha, and used a Fokker E.V. and a Sopwith Snipe as the defending planes. The mat was from my Dawn Patrol game and no AA fire was utilised. The results? Well .... the Germans are outraged! Their peace delegation have all been killed in a bombing attack on the train where the treaty was to be signed. Hostilities will resume at once.



A collision has occurred between Snipe and DH4, and although it looks like my Fokker is firing at the Snipe he is actually engaging the DH4.







The Fokker goes down to the accurate fire of the DH4.

Well done to Windy Jack, the bomber pilot. It is never easy to bomb whilst under attack and his accuracy was superb. Although hit many times most of his damage cards were zero cards.

Great looking game Gary and a nice take on OTT Bitter End's month 26 & final game.
Taking on a DH4 was a big ask as those boys are quick, tough & well armed. If you want something a little slower you could try a Breguet Br14, still tough & well armed just not so quick, or up gun a RE8 and chance your arm !
