Series 10, can still have some new actual combat aircraft. Of course the Sopwith Pup and Dolphins come to mind among a few others.

We have been clamouring for the Pup for a while and it has been noted by the designers. Hopes are high.

Here are some pictures of new releases coming soon according to Ares.
I found them this weekend at the Ares booth on the Spiel 2018 fair in Essen, Germany.

    Eh...still neither Spits V nor Fw-190s A.
Me 410 was... well, an interesting project, but in terms of "the Game priorities" is the Lancaster Class, IMHO.
But it is ARES's business, not mine.

Stupid question: where do I find which planes are included in "Series 1", "Series 5", etc? Andrea was saying on BGG a while ago that we were getting reprints of a few early machines like the Fokker Eindekker soon™, are they included in anything mentioned in this thread?

PS: Fokker Eindecker was in series #5 (the first released by Ares Games) and this is not even anounced, nor on the pictures from Essen '18.

    Thanks

(And the answer to my specific question appears to be that the early planes are in Series 5, so "further down the line" for reprinting.)

Looking forward to the Wave 1 and 4 reprints. Dunno if I really need any more Spad XIII, Albatros D Va, Camels or Fokker triplanes, having four or five of each, but definitely some that i’ll have to get, anway. The big thing for me will be the SE-5a - used ones were priced beyond what I was willing to spend when I had so many planes I still needed that were in production and available discounted. The Pfalz I’ll get, even if they are yet another central powers fighter that doesn’t quite measure up to the opposition of the time. Definitely a few of the two seaters.

Sasha thanks for the pictures and the dates shown, encouraging at least.

Thanks for all your nice replies

If you are also interested in WGS...

I have also made some pictures of the upcoming releases for the 3rd/4th quarter 2019 for WGS.
The pictures show prototypes of the Dornier 17, Bristol Blenheim, Junkers 88 and SM-79.

Just have a look in this thread.

    Regards
    Sascha

I wonder why Ares did not take any Breguet or Rumpler models to Essen?

Ares left them at the office.
But you can be sure that Breguet at least will be welcome.

Confirm that: Láďa (Ladinek here on the Aerodrome) had them in stock for very long time (years). Fighters leave shelves in months, two-seaters in years.

Can't fly an escort mission without a two-seater.

    This is funny.

When I started collecting I didn't like getting too much third party things like planes I couldn't find and balloons. Now I'm glad I did.

That is true, I also like playing twoseaters - they add something different (rear angle ) to the game. On the other side, preference of many players is on fighters. May be it is easier to imagine you are the only one (pilot) than a whole crew.
