That was not me... because I would never fly a WWII airplane with German insignia.
i saw this earlier. took me a bit to find out it was an at-6 as opposed to a vintage fw-190. the 1st pic i saw, only the cowl/motor, and a wing was visible, and i thought it didnt look right for an fw-190.
its sad to loose any warbird but you can imagine how my heart fell when the 1st stiory identified it as a vintage fw-190.
That was quite something to witness, imagine that coming at you !

Well we must just be pleased that nobody was hurt. It is better to mourn the passing of an FW than a human being.

This link dose not work for me as every time I try it I get an AOL pop up asking me to log in but as I will not give them a mobile number they will not let me pass.
Bloody computers!
OK managed to find it elsewhere!

I saw that on the news, and all I could think of is Wild Bill Kelso got one!
It is a miracle that no-one was hurt!
Because I am learning to fly single engine prop planes I would be interested in the investigation report on this one. Details such as altitude, wind conditions, VFR, was it a stall, etc. Agoura Hills, CA is approximately 16 miles from the nearest airport (unless I am missing a small private airport somewhere).
Certainly a very lucky escape for the Pilot & car drivers.
Looks like he used some serious skill to set it down on the road divider.
