Unfortunately my sails game will not be ready as originally planned but I can rig up a mini campaign starting Friday and running on Saturday in its place.

Good to hear that you and the Mrs will be at Doncaster. I was a bit worried there as I thought I might not get my 'SAILS' fix.
Will be good to see you.

    Great news, Chris.

I would join you for a SoG game between Rob‘s Basque Roads & Dan‘s Sudetenland game at Saturday!

This is fantastic news Chris. Really made my day!

Just to put the cat amongst the Pigeons Chris, I have extended my Basque Roads game to include the day two action just in case I needed to fill an extra slot. if it helps I can extend my morning session to do this, or not, the choice is yours.

Kubajs is not coming unfortunately, as far as I know, Rob.
I do not need a badge, for I have the old one.

I have a room reservation for the Premier Inn that I haven't cancelled, yet.

This is for the Premier Inn at:
    Doncaster Central East
Doncaster Leisure Park, Doncaster, DN4 7NW

The reservation was for the 27th to the 30th of September.

So, is there someone out there that wanted to make a reservation, but wasn't able due to the establishment being fully booked?

If so, perhaps I can arrange to transfer that reservation to someone who is able to make the journey. Is there a way to fairly transfer this to someone in need of close proximity to the event location, someone lugging a lot of kit back-and-forth?

Anyway, still seriously bummed I am not going to be there in a few weeks, but very much looking forward to next year.
The above reservation has been cancelled as of 14:20 hours, Pacific Time/ 22:20 London Time.

Getting to meet old friends at Donnie (which is the main reason to get there) is a great opportunity to refresh and improve one's language skills with our former Prime Minister, now the EU President....

That is what I am doing this weekend...

I'm packing for Donnie now - a bit early i hear you say? Well yes but thats because I've been called away on an urgent work trip. Assuming all goes well I'm heading sraight from there to Doncaster. Potential downside is that if things run on I won't be back until the following week and will miss it, so fingers crossed all goes well!

I should have some interesting BSG bits and pieces to bring along
