More or less, it's a tradition to fly together with Poles in one Squadron. At least they're increasing Squadron's total score

Quiberon bay , a mere 60 mins from me . Beautiful place with some of the Napoleonic defences still visible.

Bad news to greet my return from Leave chaps.
I am also very sorry to hear that there will be several familiar faces missing this year, especially our Wings of GloryFounder.

BSG Friday has the following players in no particular order.
Dave M, Steve Guntruck, Mikemagnus ,Sven, Tim and possibly Chris H

Now for requests. Dave has kindly offered his Raptors and basic box set , together with a possible freighter from X wing. If the remaining players have a basic box set could you bring it along , that way we can play at least 2 ships each and have some extras for peeps who might want to join in at the last moment.

I could also do with a dark background playing surface , a sheet for example , or if any of you have a couple of X wings mats that would do very nicely.

I assume that all the players have a grasp of the basic game? if thats so it makes it easier to design a scenario. for example including critical hits and inertia drift. If not let me know .

I will be bringing some score cards on the day so that all the chits drawn are noted and then returned to the bag. Seems to me to be the fairest way of dealing out the damage and its easier for calculating points at the end of the game .

Any questions PM me or stick them on the forum.
    Paul

I can bring two 6' x 4' Deepcut Studio deep space mats - black, with starfield, but no nebulae.

A selection of asteroids on stands.

If my order from Keith arrives, I will have several more Vipers and Raiders.

Also a couple of X-wing large ships, plus 2 BSG starter sets if needed.

Can rustle up a couple of base sets, Starbuck Viper II, Scar Cylon Raider, an X-wing transporter and a box of asteroids, although might leave the latter at home

Not overly au fait with the rules but might get round to reading them again before Doncaster - no promises.

Main rule Steve is avoid the asteroids

To keep the game flowing there will be no height , fuel or special damage rules played. Overboost , blank cards and FTL are in.

Although I have pretty much officially said I wouldn't be making it to Doncaster this year, I have been delinquent in one respect.

I have a room reservation for the Premier Inn that I haven't cancelled, yet.

This is for the Premier Inn at:
    Doncaster Central East
Doncaster Leisure Park, Doncaster, DN4 7NW

The reservation was for the 27th to the 30th of September.

So, is there someone out there that wanted to make a reservation, but wasn't able due to the establishment being fully booked?

If so, perhaps I can arrange to transfer that reservation to someone who is able to make the journey. Is there a way to fairly transfer this to someone in need of close proximity to the event location, someone lugging a lot of kit back-and-forth?

Anyway, still seriously bummed I am not going to be there in a few weeks, but very much looking forward to next year.

Things have changed and I now can confirm myself and Mrs B10 will be able to attend after all, huzzah.
Unfortunately my sails game will not be ready as originally planned but I can rig up a mini campaign starting Friday and running on Saturday in its place.
Look forward to seeing all again this year

To all Martian invaders and Earthlings:
I am going to run a T&T scenario for those interested (Chris, AKA Hedeby approved the project), but can not bring my Martian stuff with me for obvious reasons.
I see I will need help with the stuff, that means:
    1) at least 2 tripods (3 will really fit the bill), Locust (preferred), or a mixed force, with their manoeuvre cards, action cards, rulers, energy tokens and A,B,C damage cards from the starter set.
    2) 2 old Nexus mats (east and west); these mats are very important because of the river and the game scale (Chris offered his mats already).
    3) WoG A and B/B firing planes British and German, but hope there will be plenty of them all around plus usual tokens, smoke & fire, jam markers etc.
I am kindly asking you to provide all of the above .
