Coming down is the hardest thing
It is good to see such an iconic plane in flight, Paul. Thank you for posting the link to the video. Perhaps someone might persuade the owner to bring it to an airshow in the U.K. soon.
Neat video, thanks for posting it Paul. I didn't know there were any still in flying condition.
Oh my, what a cracker ! Nice find Paul.

VERY cool. I wonder who ownes it?
Any chance of seeing the video outside the evil grasp of Farce-Book?
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Certainly a repro using lear jet engines.

Beautiful plane. Back in the 1980s I used to crew on a B-17 for airshows. A wonderful perk is getting to meet veterans that flew B-17s and other planes. I remember talking to one B-17 flight engineer whose job was operating the top turret. He said they knew they were in trouble when the ME 262s would streak through their formation and the turrets couldn't keep up with them. This is amazing for if you have ever seen a sperry top turret operate they fly.
Here's to them what are like us. Damn few and they're all dead.
I wonder if they will be used in a movie. Can Hollywood resist their appeal?
Knew there was a flying one with new engines. Seen on You Tube they have one with rebuilt original engines almost ready to go. If I remember right one engine was done and they are working on the second one.
