Great photos. Good to see people enjoying themselves. Today was the open house at the tank farm in VA but I missed it.
Those are really great photographs, Jim! It must have been quite an experience being there. Thank you for sharing them.
Thank you for posting those magic photos.
Looked like a fantastic show!
Many thanks for all the great photos & promoting the game.

Great photo recon Jim, good to see the boys at play too. Well done Karl, Randy and all involved for flying the 'drome flag - Philip's not waving a boom card so his luck must've improved !

What kind of aircraft is that gray plane with the US 94th Aero markings?

Looks like it's meant to be a repro Sopwith Tabloid...I wasn't aware that the USAS flew any of them, but then again, I don't claim to be an expert...
All the best,
Matt
Awesome set of pics, hope the day was equally fun.
Great photos Jim, thanks for posting.
Great pics. Thanks for posting.
I must make it back to Dayton someday. I was there in 2013, a year before I got hooked by WoG.
Give a yell if you do. We can set up some activities before and after the Dawn Patrol. Maybe some gaming maybe some good pubs. Ask Flash we are great hosts here in Dayton.
Here's to them what are like us. Damn few and they're all dead.

It was a great time. It was good seeing all the 'Drome Mates that came by to visit. I'd like to especially thank Ricky Martin for helping Saturday for about 4 hours or so.
I'll post some pics here soon: as a note of interest; most of the planes are not full sized, with the exception of the Neuiports. The reason is that if they are under a certain size, they are considered ultralights, and have different
rules. Notably, you don't need a full pilot's licence to fly one; just a drivers licence
Probably also don't need navigation aids, a transponder, radios etc.
The all green Fokker Dr.I however, is full sized. And the difference is noticeable.
Also, the RC Gotha drops bombs!
