Thanks Matt. I do have an ASA challenge coin. In 82 we were allowed to wear the ASA patch as our combat patch. I took my MACV patch off and put my ASA patch on. Wore that patch on the left when I was in AIT and on the right when I was there before I retired so was like the beginning and then the end of my time in the Army. I hadn't heard Shimia mentioned in a long time. Thought that might bring back some memories. Remember I was told there was a girl behind every tree on Shimia.
