Not planes, again. The office is coming together, but along with that August project, I was trying to finish some minis.

They got done on Saturday, with the bases blackened, but the clear-coating waited for sun on Sunday, in between putting in a closet organizer for the office.

These are for a game called 'Strange Aeons: A Miniature Skirmish Game of Eldritch Horror'. Strange Aeons are based in a roughly historical setting sometime after 1920 and can take place anywhere in the world. Warning: This is Cthulhu mythos based, so you know it won't end well, even if you think you're 'winning'.

If you haven't seen Strange Aeons (SA), you can discover it here: Strange Aeons.ca

Warning: This game suffers from Kickstarter-itis. The rules are now only available as PDFs, and SA minis are difficult to acquire. However, there are a few alternate sources.

The minis came from here: Pulp Figures.com - Products

You create a Threshold team (3 to 4 figures, usually), which develops as you 'win' sessions, gaining skills and options as you go. Unfortunately, you acquire disabilities, too. The bad guys are run by one of the other players, but are not the other player's bad guy team. The session is randomly rolled, and the bad guy team is assembled from a selection of cultists and creatures listed in the scenario (limited by your available minis, too). Players take turns running their team, with another player runnig the bad guys. So, technically you don't play against each other, you develop your Threshold teams together.
