New shop selling Wings of Glory and Valom miniatures

Greetings chap's. I recently discovered brand new wargames shop that has opened up in Shrewsbury. The shop is called Waverley Games. I popped over to investigate what goodies they have. And had a long chat with the shop owner called Clive, who is keen to have a game of Wings of Glory WW1. He will be sorting an account with the UK supplier of Ares Games products. And will be stocking as many plane's that he can. Clive has got an account with Valom, so he'll be getting them in stock when he can. It also looks like the Shropshire Flight will at long last have a venue to game at. I am also looking to run events there to promot the hobby.

Great news, does he have any friend in DOncaster that want to open a shop because its a bloody desert for decent wargames shops up here

He does have a website up and running Reg. I will be seeing Clive this coming Saturday. If there is any particular valom kit that you need just send me a pm. As I am going to place an order for some Sopwith Pups.

Me to David. As my local wargames store where I live does not support Wings of Glory. Clive sounded very enthusiastic about Wings of Glory, and I think that when he gets chance he might even join the forum.

Pups sound like a good idea. Are they dual packs? If so one would do but if singles then two please.

With so many old style hobby shops disappearing over the last few years its nice to hear of a new one opening. I hope it all goes well!

Waverley Games has now got the Valom range on their website. Clive intially had an issue with Asmodee Games who are the main supplier of Ares Games products in the UK. But it looks like those problems have been resolved, and Clive will be stocking Wings of Glory products.
