    Plans announced for the new Tempest jet fighter, to replace the Typhoon

    We’ve previously had planes called the Typhoon and Tempest, not to mention the Hurricane, Whirlwind and Tornado. Why repeat these names? Surely there must be other ‘wind’ related names they think of? The Fairey Flatulence has a nice ring to it

    That makes me think of other things... Z cars (allegedly named after the Ford Zephyr used in the show)

    Brian Blessed (of "Gordons Alive" fame) playing PC Fancy Smith is on the right, can't make out is oppo.
    Jeremy Kemp, (Willi in the Blue Max) played PC Steele in the series & many (some now famous) British actors appeared in the show that ran from 1962 to 1978.

    I remember watching Z-Cars when I was young. It was a big boost in the careers of many of the cast.
