Default Eden Camp Museum near York

I took a trip to York on the way I found, the Eden Camp Museum, from a distance you could see Spitfire, so I went in and found a mixed bag of military machines worth a visit if you're in the area.

Now I know that a Churchill Crocodile, Isn't a plane but it's worth a look, as a WW2 flamethrower tank is a rare machine.

What made me smile was the sign on the tank "PLEASE KEEP OFF" I spoke to a member of staff and asked why didn't you place the sign on a noticeboard in front of the tank, his reply was priceless " IF IT'S NOT ON THE TANK KIDS WILL CLIMB ON THE TURRET AND COULD BREAK IT" and before you ask he was being serious.

Nice pics. Thanks Drew. From the unit badge, I'd say the Churchill was from the 11th Armoured Div.
And yes, Children will break tanks. I remember reading back in the 90s about a Tank regiment which held an open house, and let the little tykes climb all over one of the Chieftains. Afterwards, they found
the nasty kits broke the fire control mechanisms and the loader.
