Nice action packed encounter Keith. Very reminiscent of the real situation. Some enemy getting through to bomb, but a gradual winnowing away at the Italian pilots and machines.

Yes Rob, the British had the advantage of operating over friendly territory in both this campaign and my previous Battle of Britain campaign. But this time I am trying to make it harder for the RAF (more balanced?) by requiring the RAF to even perform attack missions against Italian bases or to interdict Italian shipping convoys to Africa.
Nice little action there Keith - well played

Have you looked at any of my Solo campaign Malta AAR's from a couple of years back Keith?

Very enjoyable read. Thanks for the entertainment - Like the Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero (Sparrowhawk) bombers; nice models
Thanks for your kind words Mike!.
The SM.79 are from AIM (Armaments In Miniature), I have quite a few of their planes. I have always been happy with the quality of their models as well as the size of their range. All that and great service too!
