    I watched the first one and went back and turned up the volume. Wish I had BOISE speakers and would crank them up. Awesome video Phillip. Thanks

    Clipper I am happy to say that I did get to hear the sound of the Lancaster taking off. Also a Spit, Mosquito and Merlin powered P-51's. That is an awesome sound.

    There's only one thing that sounds better than a Lanc .... and that's two Lancs !
    Enjoy the mighty Merlins...


    I was privileged to witness this event first hand from the beach at the other end of the run.

    The cliff at Beachy Head is the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain, rising to 162 metres (531 ft) above sea level.
