Matt didn't know you were down for some reason. Hope all is well and you are getting back to your old self. Besides old ASA'er are hard to keep down. Once again at Historicon I met another ASA type. He was a 98C and with the 175th in Nam so there are still a few of us around.

They are Il 2's (AIM). One single seat and two 2 seat. Again decals are by MISCMINI.

Here is one of the Il's bearing down on a Panther.

Peter between Finns and Russians we could do a number of areas. I am happy with the paint jobs but not up to your and others great work. Thanks for the positive comments.

Finished these also so here are 3 Mosquitos. Again AIM planes and MISCMINI decals. Again when I take photos I see where touch ups or additions can happen.

You are a marvel, Bob, at the rate you are turning out these AIM beauties! Inspiration to us all!

I am fine, really - you're right about old ASAers Glad you continue to serve as a magnet for them...

    All the best,
    Matt

My paint jobs aren't up the those of others but I am pleased with them. Just received an order from Dave (AIM) yesterday which had the Fw 200 CONDOR in it. Great looking model. I was looking in my OSPREY books on the Mosquito and saw some in the regular camo (Green/Brown) scheme so I have 2 fighters painted that way. Have to say they look strange compared to the Gray/Green camo scheme. I have to order so decal for them so may have them done and pics posted before the end of the month.

I just paint em Karl...Guess they are for a Kings of War army. Never played it myself but a lot of Ex Warhammer players have switched to the system. At least I get a break on the next group, a WWII Dutch Far east Bolt Action unit.Fewer figs in the whole army then that Pike block I did.

Default Hodge podge of airplanes and decals

Cleaning up the files before I get too far behind. The Ju-52 is a 1/200 Zvezda kit, the AC-130 is 1/300 Armaments in Miniature (AIM), and the rest are 1/200 AIM models. The Condor and the Ju-52 aren't quite finished. Decals are in the store. Also in the store, but not shown here, are 1/200 and 1/144 scale decals for Hungarian Re.2000s, 1/200 BV-138s and Do-18s, and some 1/200 Egyptian roundels. https://miscmini.com/shop?olsPage=products

Received an order from Kevin last week. So today I see an email from him that the Fw 200 decals are done. So had to get a set of them and then add a different set for some Beaufort's I have to order. I have his set for the RAAF Beaufort so now I need to order a few more Beaufort's to make them RAF. OH well its only money and that's why I worked for 50 years.

More lovely work here, indeed! That war elephant is just splendid, Ken Is it for a Successor army?

Kevin, your smorgasbord of planes and decals is wonderful - I've always liked the Condor's lines, and the Mossies and Typhoon are great, too

Thanks for the continued inspiration, folks! I soon hope to have a workplace established and be back in the modelling saddle...

    All the best,
    Matt

Matt, Elephant and pikes are from a Successor box set. He is using it for the base of a Kings of War army though. Also have 2 units of Roman Infantry and a Roman cav unit he wants to fold into it. It does give him enough to do a Historical army if he wants. So far he has 4 X 20 man Spartan spearman, 35 man pike block, and the elephant. on tap is another 35 man pike block and 2 15 man pikes. Also have a few successor cav figs in reserve. For his Romans it was 2 20 man infantry units, 13 cav, 2 ballista, and he is getting some more Romans to add to it. I am over 200 figs into the project already and have at least another 100 to go. Keep in mind this is 2 to 3 full KoW armieys for him and his wife. Project I am working on right now is a Dutch KNIL army for Bolt Action, With luck will finish it before going to Pennsic war the middle of this week. Pics will be coming.

Keep in mind the varnish was still a bit damp so glossier then they should be.
