Well, the bags are just about packed, final chores to be completed, almost ready for the off early tomorrow.

I'm not promising to keep a running log of my trip but I will post on here if and when I find the time to get on, my intention is to soak in the experience and document it when I get home. I'm also crap with technology so you may have to wait for the pictures until then ...
But having said that, those better enabled at the con please feel free to post pics of the people & events on this thread, particularly those involving me and our extended forum family at play

Spent a little time with Dave last evening at Jim's for the BBQ - delicious food and sterling company! After the trials and tribulations of his travel, I think he's looking forward to some gaming overload.

Here is more proof that Flash was present at Origins...

Seriously, though, these three shots give you an idea of the size and layout of the Ares booth - these were taken on Thursday mid-afternoon when all the tables were occupied. Our BGiF tables are in front, with Ares's demo tables behind and then product at the back. We were able to move and shift tables as needed for different scenarios. With all tables full to capacity and in some cases over-full, it got pretty crowded sometimes - but it was a good kind of crowded

This shot is from Friday evening about 7:30 - flash is standing center left, rhodie80 center right, and wearing the khaki cap and leaning over the table to the right (in profile) is crashx. That might be Black Sheep One leaning over the table at far right, but I'm not sure...

Gaming went until 8:00 on Friday, so Dave and Jim are likely discussing which watering hole would be the likely venue for dinner that night...
