Very good. The E-III is particularly striking.

Very nice Steven. The E.III is very sharp. Jacobs and Kissenberth have been on my to do list for a while, excellent!
Very nice. I especially like the Albatros.
You've made a really nice job of these, do you mind me asking how you held the planes while painting, did you clamp into the peg?
Cheers
Thanks guys, your all very flattering of my rookie efforts.
I hope to try a few more this year.
John, I am always telling myself to hold the model with a peg or some such, but every time I paint I end up holding it in my left hand and bumbling along in the same way I've done since painting my first warhammer fantasy miniatures back in '87.
One day I may change
Very nice work Steven, like the D.III very much.

The old ways have served me well so far!
Great job. These will great flying in combat.
Here's to them what are like us. Damn few and they're all dead.
Thanks Dave and Jim for your compliments!
Nice work, for sure, Steven! The Eindecker is a striking repaint - I love the reverse colors on the wing crosses...
Keep up the great work
All the best,
Matt
Thanks Matt. I got the decals on eBay and will buy some more soon.
nicely done
Nice job Steven. Particularly like the Jacobs Triplane

Nice work!
Very nice Steven, very, very nice!
Great work on all of them Steven.
Thanks guys! I used Rubicon 1:56 decals as I had a load floating around, they aren't historically accurate but look pretty good I think.
Hi Steve, love all your work on those planes. Excellent. My favorites are the three Austro-Hungarian planes
REP worthy imho,

Very nice work Steven. As others have said great paint scheme.
Thanks guys! I'm really enjoying painting WoG planes.
These guys will be the planes I take to events and the like. Having a unique paint job makes it easier to tell who's is who's.
nicely done
Jolly good looking Flight Steven.
I love that colour scheme.

Excellent job with those planes Steven!!!
Striking repaints! Jolly well done!

Thanks fella's! My Entente need some planes to balance the forces at my disposal now my A-H flik is growing.
Very nice Steve!
Thanks Peter. Some Entente must be tried next.
Hi Mike, thanks for the compliment!
The three blue and green Aviatik's are repaints of the Ares Sabreditsch Aviatik D1. You can often find this plane cheap on many dealers webstores. It is the Brown and tan one with the over wing machine gun. The plane has a good movement deck and a B damage machine gun, check out the planes walk through section pinned in the General section of the forum.
Steven,
For two of your planes, there are cards in one of my albums:
WWI Central Powers Fighters - Ltn Otto Kissenberth
WWI Central Powers Fighters - Ltn de Reserve Josef Jacobs
Other planes might take a while, and I don't have a template for the Aviatik D.1. Hmmm... I want to honour that flight's paint scheme...
PS: Drawing now available...
PPS: And a bit of color...
Now, if we had a bit of fictional info to put on a card...

Lovely work there Mike. Thanks for the links. Is it possible that you could modify the picture to be the over wing gun variant of the D1?
This image might be helpful: https://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/at...1&d=1534516930 (Well, the full-size one in my album at least.)
Very nice bases for your spiffy looking Pups Steve, did he engrave & colour them or is that a decal/sticker ?
