Thread: WGS WACO CG-4a in 1/200 scale

  1. #1

Default WGS WACO CG-4a in 1/200 scale

Forum members: I am scratch building a CG-4a glider for my own use, but could, if there was adequate interest, create it as a mold master and pour resin copies. My mold making supplies need to be replenished, so if i had 6 or more interested parties it would be worth the investment at, say, $7.00 each?

Please reply this thread with questions and interest.

Shame! If only you were in the UK. Postage kills most stuff from your neck of the woods.

Hey, Bob, I think I would go for 3 or 4 to make it worth your while.

And I guess I had better get some C-47s to go with them ....

Cool, I'd also go for 3 or 4 myself. I have some Zveda Russian C-47s that I can use as tows.

Were any specific rules for use worked out at that time? If not, i will draft something for review. I have, shall we say, inside information ;-)

Outstanding job David. Makes one wonder where the bases and card decks for the project planes ended up though......

I can't recall if we came up with any or not. I did a search in house rules, but nothing on the thread titles
I know gliding was discussed somewhere, probably in regards to engine hits.
Shouldn't be too hard: towing planes go slow. Released gliders have to lose an altitude counter per turn; just need to figure their "climb" rate
