Great photos. I flew in Yankee Lady and my wife was up in the Memphis Belle. Next month both will be at the Reading show so get to see them together along with DOC and FIFI (B-29's).

I have pictures of me climbing through the movie Memphis Belle somewhere... from many years back when I was still able to climb in a bomber and man a waist-gun...

thanks! indeed! especially the b-17 aluminium overcast was about somewhere though, sadly, not at grimes field at that time.

it was a labor of love for me to go through her now. frankly i dont think i wouldve done it had the not been b-17s. supportively, others people going through were giving me a pep talk to make it through!

I have posted this photo a few time but here it is again. I took this picture of FIFI (B-29) through the top turret as we were waiting to take off. Pretty neat I thought.

that is awesome!!!! i kind of have a thing for taking pics of historic aircraft through the windows of historic aircraft!!!!
