A range of decals

In terms of the damaged bases, they have had a peg snapped in them. The Ude Fokker is the same. I would say that least 95% of the pegs are there. I only ever use two per plane. However. the set started from someone else who ridculousy stuck a load of pegs to bases. Apart from the Udet, all the planes with damaged bases come from that set. There also a load of spare bases, with snapped pegs as well as pegs that have been gluded together.

I've also got a lot of spare manovure cards from the old wings of war set and the card board ballons.

Price wise, I haven't a clue as I don't have any of the oringial boxes but I've spend over £1000 on this Postages would be through hermes and I guesss around £25 mark. There is a lot here. I would only post to the UK.

I sorry you have to get rid of your collection. Of course there the odd few I would love to take off your hands (Godwin Brumowski for example). But being on the other side of the pond I doubt that is much help.

I'm sure if you break it up you might make more via eBay, but that means constant monitoring and shipping. If you sell it as a set it will be much easier, but I shouldn't think you'll make as much.

Chris,

Concerning the broken pegs. Use a pin vise to drill a smallish hole in the center of the peg. Then put a small screw into the peg (very small so as to not split the base) and pull it out. Trick is to not split the base hole by getting too large a screw. Or just drilling out he center of the broken peg can make it easier to chip it out without damaging the base using dental picks.

before resorting to drilling i try using something sticky like that semi dry but flexible glue like they use to glue down labels to try and get the nub out of the hole. hat it work a number of times now.
