How did I miss this post? Anyway, hope your special day was a good one.
I'll beat you to that 3 score years brigade by a few weeks, next year. The government sent me a letter last week, advising me that I can apply on-line for my civil pension, starting next May. I have to apply for 'geezer' status in this country, it appears.

I started applying for Canada Pension earlier this year and was stymied by the "Mother's Maiden Name" question.
It kept saying my entry was incorrect.
I finally called the 800 number and found they had made my SIN account inactive.
A personal visit to Service Canada in Richmond last month and a confirmation letter in the mail last week means I can try again.
A happy belated Paul. Hope the day was wondeful.
