WIP Aichi D3Val wreck
Mothers and their babies .......
I play "Pacific" at 1: 144, having failed to sell my vals (WoW) 1/200, I will turn them into wrecks.
The first will be in the water and the other will explode in flight .. (If you have other ideas I am a taker, I have 3 left and I intend to buy vals at 1/144)
First step I repainted them to look like each other

That's outstanding work. Pity to use the planes that way though. I to have an number of planes in 1/144 scale (200 or so). Richard S from here turned me on to them a few years ago so I have quite a few of them along with my NEXUS/ARES and AIM 1/200 planes.
How about you have the deck of a Japanese carrier with the planes sitting on it ?

Not yet finished but it's the idea.
The "sea" must still dry, it will be less white and I'll probably paint again.I think add a shark fin and some seagulls

Rep gun misfired. All 3 are very good. Love the crash in the water...the sharks fin and seagull realy set it off.
