Crimson Galactica

Back in 2013 some of the very talented folk here released a version of Crimson Skies for WoG. The files section has planes, movements, and damage cards. Quite a few downloads happened so what was it like to play? Would it not be better for Ares to support that user initiative than Battlestar Galactica?.

I'd love a port of Crimson Skies to the WoG system. But IIRC, the current rights for Crimson Skies are either owned by Microsoft or WizKids/Topps. Which means it would probably be difficult for Ares to get a license to publish the game.

Since WizKids has licensed the FFG Flight Path/X-wing system for their Star Trek game, I suspect it would be more likely that they would try to launch their own air combat game using that licensed rules set.

(I have to admit, my enthusiasm for X-wing/Flight Path has dropped significantly after hearing Andrea's story about how FFG behaved towards him.)
