That looks really great Fox.
Very much what one could expect to see in a Jasta. Well done indeed.
Our group gives our pilots colorful names also. I have a German Ace named Otto VonBlotto. Great paint job! Keep up the good work.
Thanks all
It's my real name but in german so it's easy for me to make special paint
Fox=Fuchs= Renard
Nervinus is the name of our club (les Nerviens) but in latin. Les Nerviens were a gaul tribe from the North of France and south Belgium.
Nice. So, how did you mount the plane?
Well..........Valom are really nice models but really hard to mount(for me) .I'm not a profesional but I'm not a newbie in models ( I made a lot of WWII 1/144 )and my job is to make sets for movies and theaters so I'm manual.
This is the first one for me and you need to be cool and have patient when you mount the small metal pieces .I broke one wing, loose some small metal parts....... You absolutly need tweezers.
Now i'm mounting 2 Hanriot HD1, One more albatross and a rumpler. But all in the same time, to let the glue time to stick, and it's really more pleasant.
I drill a litlle bit( not getting through the wing) the emplacements for the metals parts between the two wings ( don't know the name in english, mast?) and it's really helpfull. You have to put all the "mast" on the upper wing before trying to put together the two wings. It's impossible to put the mast one by one.I worked like that on the 2 Hanriot and it's really more easy.
Well that's it , i hope my english is good enough for you to understand .
cheers
Pascal

Your English is great. Certainly better than my non existent French!
I think you mean struts in English.
So do you drill and glue the flight peg directly to the model?
Fox, that is great work! I really like the colors you chose. Thank you for sharing your work!

Lovely job!
Well done!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
