However, can someone explain the 'prize' to me. If I/we win the raffle do we pay postage etc? It seems only fair, but I might buy one less ticket to reserve money for postage if that is the case

No mate, you do not pay postage. Its all included in the Prize. I was fortunate to win one of last years Lend Lease raffles, a WW2 Box set & very nice it was too!

I must say, based on the LL members I've met in person, there would be no problem keeping them here! Heck, we're even willing to keep Karl!!
