I should be OK for the Saturday. Either table is fine
I'm good for both days, WW1 table only (naturally! )
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Should be about on the Sunday morning all being well but cannot commit for the day.

Should be able to make the Sunday to push some planes around if required. Other commitments preclude me from making Saturday, sorry.

Drew
To the best of my knowledge we won't be trading, only running participation games. That is our normal modus operandi at shows.
- Neil.
This is correct Neil.
Thanks.
Rob.

Hi Drew, apologies for delay in replying.
Officially we are not allowed to sell anything at any show we attend, the reason we get free entry is we are demoing the games.
Traders have to pay for their slots and therefore we would be encroaching onto their business so we cannot sell anything at the table as Wings of Glory Aerodrome, even if no traders are selling our game and aircraft.
We should also not sell as a private seller as this show has a bring and buy zone and so the club running the show would miss out on their cut.
However if there is something you are looking for and another member of the forum can help I see no readon why you could not sell outside the lesiure center as a private sale as long as that sale does not then enter the show premises.
Is there something you were specifically looking for ?
Yes I'm in need of some fire and smoke markers for the standard size planes
Take a look at Red Vectors website or drop Mick a mail with requirements, he may be able to help.
Otherwise there is Pykrol on ebay, Litko do some or a cheaper alternative, which I use, black and Orange pipe cleaners.
If you at the Reading show pop along and we can chat about the options.
I will be on the Sails table but there will be Tim and others on the WW1 table to talk to. We all have our preferences
Aerodrome Store has the ace version in stock by the look of it Drew

Well looks like just you and I Tim, if it gets busy Ill help out on Wings, Sails usually is quieter
I can put in an hour if it helps
Run for your life - there are stupid people everywhere!
Good luck tomorrow chaps - see you Sunday !

Thanks to the chaps attending Warfare, good to see you all & what a busy day we had.
Andy took control of the first game - we put regular returnee Oliver in charge of the RE.8 (Bait),
Despite Andy's best efforts Oliver managed to give the oldies the slip
Until the punter got pointed in the right direction and nicked the kill !
I had a go in the next game flying a N.17 ....turn 2... Move 1...
turn 2.... Move 2...
....Bugger.. the young mans girlfriend picked up the spare.. she later got another kill.
After some retail therapy came back to Andy & Tim in the thick of the fray again
I got into the next game with an old favourite ... Kill !
Lining up for kill 2 his engine damage saw me ram him... should be OK... just 5 points of damage..
Bugger....
Went and snatched pics of nearby games & when I got back Tim & Andy had managed to catch up with one of those pesky kids !
Two close range shots ...
I jumped in on the last game - lost a wingman
Avenged a wingman... (apols for blurry pic but looked dramatic !)
Lost to a wingman !
Then it was time to pack & run home - All in all a lot of fun. Thanks chaps

Belated apologies for not making it yesterday (and for not informing anyone in advance), but family and work wiped out my weekend ☹️

Nice one guys - looks like you had a good time. Still sorry to have missed the event but the Temple Bar was also damned good
Thanks to those who held up the honour of the Drome once more, and thanks for your critical commentary on the games Dave.

Looks like a great effort.
Envy you guys your proximity to games - pretty much all solo for me ..
Finally recovered from the weekend........................
Fits and starts on Saturday - very busy first thing, then dead for about 2 hours around lunchtime, then busy again up to the close.
Many thanks to Steve (Guntruck) who put in considerably more than the hour of support he had previously offered - cheers mate!
Sunday was, unusually, the busier of the two days, with very little down time on the table.
Unfortunately, we 'Dromers spent a lot of time getting our butts kicked by the punters, except for one glorious dogfight in which we swept all before us!
Thanks to Flash and Ajay for providing their usual sterling efforts and good(?) humour!
The show itself was MUCH busier than I expected. The halls were rammed both days - all the Traders I spoke to said they had had above average sales, and an organiser told me they exceeded last year's total Saturday entry count by 11:00 on Saturday this year! After some quieter-than-usual shows earlier in the year, this was encouraging.
I hope to be able to find time to post some of my pictures soon.
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Hopefully this will be the start of some busier shows... most of 2018 was a bit flat show wise
Thanks chaps
