Default Decal advice on 1/144 scale planes?

    Greetings,

Thought I would ask for some advice. Iíve purchased some 1/144 scale WW2 planes recently and I have yet to put on the decals. Some of these decals are absolutely TINY! Thereís a worry that having never done this before Iíll fowl it up. They are F-toys German WW2 planes. Wow, are these decals small!

So Iím humbly offering cold beer/lager for advice on how best to apply my decals to these 1/144 planes.
    🍺🍺🍺🍺🍼🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺 Thank you Gents!

    Respectfully,

    óChuck

Micro set solution, small scissors and tweezers, a clear coat to paint on over the decal when it is in place and dry. Most important, a steady hand!

I think more important, wait for it to dry fully, at least a day, before clearcoating.

    That's not small!

    Try 1/700!!!!
Haha! I didn’t even realize they had planes that small! I’m in awe. I googled and am blown away by folks who have that level of artistic ability. To paint that small. Wow!!!

I have tons of 1/144 planes (F-Toys) and have had no problem with the decals. As others have said try 1/600. I just bought a few for some B-17's and they are small.

Yeah, frankly I do not care whether the decals are 1/200 or 1/144 or 1/300. You could always fit them more or less on WGS minis.
