Default Cool Photo WWI ME262 P51

I was searching the web for Airco DH2 Paint schemes when I ran across this picture. It was just listed as a computer screen saver so I have no clue who did it but wanted to share it with the group. Enjoy!

Very nice pic. I wonder if the 262 will ever come from Ares?

VERY cool picture, Jim - the proverbial 'rock and a hard place' for that 262...I love the perspective of the shell casings tailing off into the foreground

    All the best,

That is a print I would love to hang on the wall. I can’t seem to find an artist name. If anyone ever finds out...

Very pretty picture, even if he's missing by a mile with that deflection!

    Interesting note regarding the picture:
illustration, used photographed model kits, then painted over.

Great picture. Gary your choice for a 262 would be from AIM. I think Andy has posted photos of his 262's.

I'm finding this technique, as well as computer assisted illustration over model pics quite often.
rOEN911 here uses it on his work.

Looks like they are both going in the drink! Good looking art though.

That one's a bit - shall we say - comic book looking.

Both planes will be in the drink in about half a second .

Also inaccurate markings, those are post-1947 Stars and Bars.

Or a collision, followed by a bath
You are right, Pete, very much a comic book layout.
