Today 26th January is Australia Day

G'day All!
Today we Celebrate Australia Day 26th January which is the Anniversary of the arrival in Sydney Cove of the First Fleet under Capt. Arthur Phillip bringing the first settlers including convicts to begin the foundation & settlement of Australia in 1788.
Please join me in the Officers Club for a few celebratory VB's or Fosters! Or in fact any drink you might fancy.

Hi Joe! VB is Victoria Bitter from the same company that markets Fosters.

Nearly midnight and just got back from watching Darkest Hour at the Canberra Centre and the city is still buzzing with folk celebrating. Great movie and a great place to watch it too.

Had a great Australia Day - glorious warm weather, beers and BBQ with the extended family, backyard cricket, dip in the pool.

It's on days like this you stop to give thanks we live in the 'Lucky Country'.
