Does anyone know which types of allied planes were used by the Russians?
Secondly what types of aircraft were the Germans using, was it just the types that had become redundant on the Eastern Front?

Several of these planes are in the game, most of them in "Top Fighters" - where you find more of them (as a Snipe of the British mission in Russia and a Soviet Snipe).
I don't know if this was the subject you were asking about, but... Worth a visit anyway!
Gudday Desaix thanks to your reply to my thread. I was intialy talking about WW1, but the idea of the Russian Civil War is now very appealing and I imagin would have a good mixture of planes.
Gudday Anglolillo thankyou for your reply to my question I will follow up on those leads you gave me, as I said to Desaix I was only thinking of WW1 but now the Russian Civil War that is appealing
In fact I cam to WoW because I was primary interested in the Russian Civil war aircrafts hehe...
I am working on some scenarios and stuff for this particular area... I will post things when they are more finished...
Great idea for the Russian Civil War (Bolshevik revolution) Though the Communists didn't have planes. I don't think at least
Yes they had. We featured some Sopwith Camel, Fokker D.VII, Nieuport and Sopwith Snipe in the booster packs.
Some details there:

Here about the Camel (at the bottom of the page) and some of their adversaries, that are featured in the boosters too:

The Polish also fought against the Soviets:
