Default US Bird Dog in South England museum

I thought you guys might be interested in this photos of a US Army L19 Bird Dog which is in the museum of Army Flying in Hampshire, England. The story relates to Bob Begbie, a British pilot serving in the British force supporting the Americans and South Koreans during the Korean war. The British force had no planes (Bob was serving in a non flying role) which proved a problem when the chinese joined the war, as they were able to move around unobserved, until Bob borrowed a US plane from the nearby american contingent. He wore a US pilots uniform when using the plane.
