This looks very interesting although as of today I have a Focke Wulf Fw.190D-13 wreck for my 3D Scenery inventory. With another Avro Vulcan B.2 about to enter the game this was the only way I could get hold of an R Deck for conversion ... Buy a replacement Wubke Edition Fw.190D-13 and wreck my existing one!
It's amazing what they pull out of their forests after so many years - there was a Fw189 doing the rounds many years ago with a similar back story that I had the pleasure of viewing at Shoreham Airshow when I was policing the event...
Wikihttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focke-Wulf_Fw_189In 1991, the wreckage of V7+IH was found in the Russian forest where it had remained for 48 years. The aircraft was purchased by a group of British aircraft enthusiasts and was shipped to the UK, arriving in the town of Worthing, West Sussex in March 1992. The Focke Wulf 189 Restoration Society was formed to restore the aircraft to flying condition. Her pilot met up again with his aircraft at the 1996 Biggin Hill Airshow.
Would be amazing to see that back in the air.

Thats the thing with Russia ( as it was) It's so desolate you can find these treasures hidden for years in the tundra and forests.

Just found the video again on You Tube - doesn't appear to work on the link/site above so re-posted it here:

The plane is now flying in the US so doubtless some of you chaps will have seen it.
