Default WW2 Luftwaffe Camouflage patterns Battle of Britain

    Hi Gents \ Ladies

I was wondering if anyone could help here. I have a half dozen Me110s to paint c1940 Battle of Britain and I was wondering if anyone could shed light on the camo pattern on the upper wing surfaces? I was particularly wondering if these were all the same pattern - ie factory applied, or were there individual differences. and if a standard pattern, any idea what it was?

    Thanks in advance

    Ken

There were variations in pattern, and also in colour - usually RLM 70 Swarzgrun/RLM 71 Dunklegrun, or latterly RLM 71 Dunklegrun/RLM 02 Grau. Other colours have been noted. Here's a scan showing the camo patterns.

    Cheers

I'm wondering if it is worth trying to cut a stencil - particularly as they are factory applied and mirrored
