    Default Wot Ho Chaps

Pilot Officer Moggy reporting for duty. Lets give the Bosh the old what for!

OK back to grim reality, Nice to be here. I usually game with the Wessex Wargamers in Southampton.

EX Army type (24 years - that's far too long). Been gaming for over twice that long so you can guess at how old I am. Not played WOW/WOG yet but seen it at a few conventions and felt it looks like a fun game (easy to learn and hard to master) that appeals.

Look forward to chatting with you all

    Cheers

Another soggy welcome from the Canadian jungle island, Vancouver Island. The temporary flood dams have been put in place, due to this weeks deluge of rain fall, a King tide (www.cbc.ca - News: What are king tides?), and possible snow melt off the ridge mountains (Local mountains have accumulated 3 meters of snow, so far this season!).

Don't wait for February! Someone close by must be available for a pick-up game before then. Hope you enjoy the camaraderie here on the Forum.

    Greetings

    Welcome.

I keep meaning to get down to the Wessex Wargamers sometime. If it's still in Ashurst, it's about an hour away from me on the Hanpshire/Surrey border.

You may well find WoG addictive, either on a casual or more involved level. I've certainly bought more planes than I thought I would and quite often end up doing solo games at home - thus proving I can shoot down myself quite well ...

    Regards

    Edward

G'day Derek & welcome to the 'drome on behalf of the pilots who fly in NSW down in Australia.
You have landed in a great place to learn all about this great game so just go ahead & ask anything you want.
