I have finally decided that I will start to make up some model planes.
I am going to start on a few easy? ones then maybe a bomber or two.
Can anyone let me know do the Skytrex models include pilots/gunners?

I will dig out my box of (so far) unmade Skytrex 'Red Eagle' aircraft when I get home and check, but I think the pilot is part of the casting of the fuselage.
Some crew are cast in and some are loose, usually depending on the ease with which you will be able to get at them to paint.

Single seaters seem to be cast in, two seaters have seperate rear gunners, the bigger bombers seperate, as a general rule of thumb

always an option, although not tried them but they are in the UK

I have Peter Pig pilots for the series one planes, but have not used the rear gunners yey as they are a new addition. Anyone experience of them yet?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you - my DCOS (Domestic Chief Of Staff) scuppered my plans for the last 2 nights....
I will list all aircraft I have and whether they include pilots etc...
Single Seaters
SE5a - Integral pilot
Sopwith Camel - Integral Pilot
Sopwith Pup - Integral Pilot
Sopwith Triplane - Integral Pilot
Albatros D.III - Integral Pilot
Fokker D.VII - Integral Pilot
Fokker E.V/D.VIII - Integral Pilot
Fokker DR1 Triplane - Integral Pilot
Two seaters
Hannover CLIII - Integral Pilot with separate rear gunner casting with model
Halberstadt CLII - Integral Pilot with separate rear gunner casting with model
Chris hit it spot on with his post earlier in the thread when he said "Single seaters seem to be cast in, two seaters have seperate rear gunners, the bigger bombers seperate, as a general rule of thumb".
Hope that helps
Thanks Adie
That fully answers my question.
Just have to purchase some planes and build them now.

I think they do, but u might be interested to know. Peter Pig Models to Pilots and Rear Gunners. Peter Pig is mostly known for 15mm wargames. But they have produced 3 sets in 1/144 for planes with no pilot or gunners
