Certainly looks interesting. I wonder if it will be translated or sub-titled.
Amusingly, Google translate told me the webpage was already in English

It looks like there might be an English version. There is certainly an English version shown but it turns out to be the French one. Difficult to tell as there is only music and no dialogue.

The CGI looks good. Love the fact that they are using a variety of aircraft and that they are not "dumbing down" for the average viewer. The training sequences are rather hokey though, straight out of "Flyboys". Were these physiological tests not performed on raw recruits before a candidate was even considered for flight training? The one peripheral image test shown really cracks me up. if you were not operating your head on a swivel and an enemy scout has positioned itself anywhere near your tail, you were probably already shot down.

Wow - I hope we get to see an English Version also.
To save those who see this thread & need a translation - read below. This is the copy from the linked page: -

The Great War seen from the sky, alongside the biggest aviation Aces in V.O (German, French, English). From their memories and reconstructions,
here are the intimate portraits of five exceptional pilots: Richthofen, Udet, Guynemer, Fonck, and Mannock.

Destiny and aerial immersion at the heart of their legendary fights in Verdun and the Somme, which made them "stars".

A true history of men and machines that is part of the aeronautic epic from 1914 to 1918, in the midst of the stakes of the Great War and the birth
    of military aviation.

To rise in the air to the sides of "Aces of the Aces" and to discover the Great War from the sky, closer to the men, in VO, is the proposal of this film
at the same time it reveals a military aeronautical epic during the First World War.

4 years, from 1914 to 1918, where the great history is written in the filigree of the narrative of combat missions experienced by 5 pilots of excellence,
German, French and British: Manfred Von Richthofen called the Red Baron, Ernst Udet, Georges Guynemer , René Fonck and Edward Mannock.

This miniseries is based on the testimonies of the protagonists and proposes, using immersive 3D reconstructions and dialogue fiction, to understand
how these pilots have become international stars. It offers us to share with them the intensity of the greatest air battles from 1914 to 1918 including
the terrible battles of Verdun and the Somme.
A unique opportunity to penetrate into the intimacy of these men of diverse backgrounds and backgrounds, with the common desire to showcase
themselves in the air by serving their country.

Here are the links for French and German versions.
    No English translation yet.
    French part 1 : https://www.arte.tv/fr/videos/067795...re-des-as-1-2/
    French part 2 : https://www.arte.tv/fr/videos/067795...re-des-as-2-2/

    German part 1 : https://www.arte.tv/de/videos/067795...er-luefte-1-2/
    German part 2 : https://www.arte.tv/de/videos/067795...er-luefte-2-2/

Very interesting documentary with many planes and great combat movies sequences :
    part 1 : Blériot XI, Albatros B, Morane-Saulnier Parasol, Caudron G3, Fokker D.II, Farman, Nieuport 11, Albatros D.II, Airco D.H.2
    part 2 : Spad XIII, RAF SE5, Fokker Dr.I, Albatros C.III
    And Parseval-Sigsfeld type balloon.

But the the aviation specialists of the Aerodrome may notice 4 big mistakes and a few itching details.

    Part 1
    - 33 minutes 30 seconds. The comment announces that the Fokker D.II is the first machine gun synchronised plane. 18 March 1916.
Actually the Fokker E.I is the first MG synchronised plane and its first victory took place on July 1915.

About introduction of the Fokker D.II, there are different opinions :
    - according to Norman Franks, (one of the historical specialists in this documentary) in his book « Above the lines » (published in 1993), Udet had his first victory with a Fokker D.II on March 18 1916 , as in the documentary.
    - according to a 2012 Osprey, Fokker D.I prototype is introduced in June 1916.
And the first biplane single seater on western front is the Halberstadt D.II in June1916.
    (Albatros D.I - D.II / page 10-11 / author James Miller / Osprey Publishing 2012).
So the Fokker D.I could not take part to combat in March 1916.
Moreover a new plane was usually not given to a new pilot like Udet but to an Ace like Boelcke in 1916.
    http://www.theaerodrome.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=56707

    - 42 minutes 10 secondes - 28 October 1916 -
At this time, only Albatros D.I and D.II versions are engaged, the D.III will arrive in December 1916.
But the pictures show Albatros D.II (edge of wings are rectangular and both wings have equal surface) with V interstruts instead of parallel interstruts.
It is a mix of both versions D.II and D.III that is a pure mistake.
The D.III has V interstruts and a smaller surface low wing and non straight edge wing.

    Other little details :
    - Levasseur plane of French ace Nungesser is shown during a comment about the victories of this pilot in 1916 (but this plane nicknamed L’Oiseau Blanc was piloted by Nungesser and Coli during their attempt to cross Atlantic Ocean in 1927) .
    - English Sopwith Camel are shown during a comment about French squadrons.
    - a plane with German 1918 Balkennkreuz markings is shown during a comment about German aviation in 1916.

    Part 2
    Biggest mistakes :
    - During à discussion between Udet and Goering in September 1918, Udet declares «*he had his 61 and 62 victories with the brand new Albatros D.III*».
Even the Albatros D.V has been considered obsolete for many months at this time and the Fokker D.VII is the best fighter at the end of the war.

    Other details :
    - Parseval-Sigsfeld type balloons are the only type shown in the documentary while the Caquot type balloon has been preferred and used by both camps since 1916-1917.
    - during a comment about Aces and their representation by press during the war, a magazine with Nungesser and Coli on board their plane in 1927 is shown with other War time newspapers.

Looks like you can get Episodes I & II on Amazon (streaming)

I'd prefer the DVD or Blu-Ray so will hold off a bit.
Looks pretty good, apart from the errors mentioned,
