Fall of the Red Baron

Location: frontline, Morlancourt Ridge, Picardy, France
Story: Yesterday, the Red Baron, Manfred von Richthofen himself, scored victories #79 and #80. After a short celebration of this milestone there is another mission today morning. Manfred, Lothar and three of their colleagues from famous Flying Circus, Jagdstaffel 11, started for a common pursuit mission over the trenchline. Suddenly there are attacked by airplanes from 209 Squadron of newly named RAF. Fight for the life of legend just started...
Central Powers Forces: 2× Albatros D.Va, 2× Fokker Dr.I
Entente Forces: 2× RAF S.E.5a, 2× Sopwith Camel
Axis victory conditions: score more victory/ace points (a point for every ace level of shot down pilot)
Allied victory conditions: score more victory/ace points (a point for every ace level of shot down pilot)
Special rules: Ace rules (roll D6, divide number by 2: ace level; Richthofen and Brown without dividing; just for testing, not applied during campaign); Trench fire (when a pilot is a ruler from the red dot, roll D6: 1-4 nothing, 5-6 pilot hit)
Result: Entante won - they destroys more airplanes and the sum of their ace level numbers was higher.
Balance: 80 %. Need to improve balance of the trench fire. Probably raising chance by thirds of playing time (1/6 → 1/3 → 1/2)
Brothers are seeking the best direction for attack from the sun.

But Manfred has a bad luck today - gun jam and he started to burn...

Reunion for a while, but the battle is almost finished and Manfred goes down to pursuit alone fighter. And then...a bullet from Australian trenches. The only one...
Final results. Note especiall the Nürnberg Kompanie in the west trench - their soldiers shot down three enemy airplanes!
