A few photos from Karl's excellent (and very different!) WW1 torpedo-bombing game from Saturday evening at Donnie.
The Good Guys!
The Baddies!
The Sopwith Cuckoos peel off to line up on their target.
Jasta 15 engages....................at bottom of picture, my "von Hantelmann" D.VII dives to try to pass under the escorting Camels.
Success! I pass beneath the 4 Camels; not one of them gets a shot
The Cuckoos burst through - Jasta 15 pursues
One Camel is shot down, and a torpedo narrowly misses the stern of the "von der Tann"
I chase a fleeing Cuckoo
One of my colleagues takes down another Cuckoo, but they have long since dropped their "fish"
The dogfight swirls...............
Here comes another missile (I mean, torpedo)
At end of game, two torpedoes scored hits, whilst 2 attacking planes were shot down - Entente Victory.
