Great stuff here, Simon! That playing surface is particularly stunning - I think I have seen it from a distance in other reports from the Front. Simply beautiful

I, too, like your altitude pegs and look forward to seeing your updated information on making them.

Sounds like you all had a good time, but then if Mav is involved, it's always a good time...

    All the best,
    Matt

Just remember Steve you can't beat a pair of Bristols.......unless they're going down in flames. (Sorry for downing your upgunned Bristol Chris...too good a target to miss with all them B guns!)

Thanks to all it was great seeing you all after Doncaster:

Simon for comfirming our slot again (and stuff the fantasy competition bring the siren next year). And fantastic battle mats.

Juliet for supporting Simon on the WGS table. (As they say behind every great man....)

Tim for again producing his lovelly targets for the German and British bombers to bomb. And a fantastic Jasta of DVII's for us to shoot down.

Chris for his sterling support and co-running the WW1 table. (and letting us shoot down his Bristols). The odds were Staake(d)n against him.

Steve and Reg for much support flying the Giants and lending their aid.

Simon for supporting both the WGS & WGF tables. and keeping an eye out for me. (Cheers mate).

A big personal thank you to all for keeping me right, looking after me and pointing me in the right direction during both 'emergency evacuations')

Vapnartak Emergency Evacuation 1: Leave the building, 2 minutes later come back in; someone burnt the burgers!

Vapnartak Emergency Evacuation 2: Leave the building, 30 seconds later come back in; probably someone burnt the burgers again!

Still not 100% but striving to get there.

    Neil

(PS: Pics to follow but Chris' will be better).
See you on the Dark Side......

Chris probably didn’t mention me working on the theory that absinthe makes the heart grow fonder

No worries Chris, I know you didn’t mean to.

Didn't take any myself (!!!) this time - I still have phots from 5 shows which I haven't had time to post, so I decided not to add to the backlog.

I'm sure the others will pop theirs up when they have a moment.

Just a thought! Am I to understand that I am regarded as one of the creche? I know I'm well into my second childhood but that's taking it a bit too far.

Reg can't be part of The Creche - just look at the evil glare he's delivering to the lad who's blocking him from the table....................
