Default Gladiators and Falcos over Malta

Since early war planes and WWIII biplanes especially have been growing on me for a long time AND with some Cr.42 being on clearance here and there I have started searching for some battle reports and here is site loaded with data you may also like:

In _Twilight:2000_, "air power" consisted of ultralights (and in our group's case: Museum-stored acft. which didn't use modern electronics).... >;)

Haha I played that game as well back in the day - my section had a M113 run on distilled ethanol.

    Never got to airpower though

Hĺkan Gustavsson's website is an amazing resource for pre and early WW2 aerial operations - I use it all the time for Spanish Civil War missions. I also just bout his book on the Sino-Japanese Air War, which is worth double the $28 I paid.

I agree Carl. Having just bought that book myself. His site is a wealth of information on the Sino-Japanese war too.
See you on the Dark Side......

The supplement _Airlords of the Ozarks_ had the ultralight rules; our problem was: We were already up to WW2-era acft. by that point.... >:)

In case someone has some thoughts on Italian plane colours, keithabarker posted a question here:

Now I just need a ground-forces list for Malta; then I can figure out what happens if Dear Old Uncle Adi does the intelligent thing, and lets the Italians hang in Greece at Crete, while using those forces to invade Malta....

Try googling Operation Herkules; while a year later than the Crete operation, it would give you a start. Not sure they had the troops or the supplies to substantially reinforce Malta from May '41 to May '42.
