...........but three Albatri pump bullets into the lone English scout, and it is destroyed just short of its target.

Game over at that point - All 6 Nieuports were shot down, for the loss of 1 Albatros D.III
Two hangars were destroyed, along with 1 AA MG. 1 wooden hangar is partially destroyed, while the transport section receives light damage.

    Overall, a German victory.

    Great action there, Tim.
Love the expanded airfield - will have to try printing that way myself.

I will be back to send some well-deserved REP.

Unless I give it to #3 which I am just about to read ...

And the Oscar goes to ... (oh wait, wrong theatre and wrong war) ... #2 "Aerodrome Ambush"

  3. #3

Great looking Albatri, excellent map and buildings and a comprehensive victory

    Thumbs up

That was a great game Tim & the 3D scenery was superb!
Obviously you needed the "Luck of Bishop" to win that one for the RFC.

    Thanks for the REP, Pete!
The game worked out better than I had hoped - it was well worth the effort in preparation.

It was great fun, though a little hectic at times..............you know what 'Dromers are like; line up a few targets and they all pile in together!

    Thanks Barry!
The scenery took a while to gather and complete, but it was worth it.

The luck WAS on the German side; the random AA cards ALL turned up 'A' or 'B' firers next to the aerodrome (no 'blanks'), and ground fire inflicted two pilot wounds and BOTH fire damage cards!

On the other hand, I wouldn't want a "Bishop" flattening all my new terrain pieces without reply!
