Intelligence reported a Hun raid on Dunkerque. Four machines take off to intercept. The French fielded a Nieuport 11 (with 3 respawns), a Breuget 14, A Sopwith 1 1/2 strutter, and a Spad VII. The Germans led their attack with a Zeppelin Staaken, followed 6 movements later by a Gotha GV and a second Gotha six movements after that. The action was fast and furious with 3 of the suicidally brave Nieuports going as well as the Sopwith. The Germans lost their Staaken and one of their Gothas but unfortunately the French could not prevent Dunkerque being bombed by one of the Gotha's. The game ended with the last Gotha limping home and the remaining French planes returning to base.
