2017 Fort Devens 21st October

Just got word that this year Saturday October 21st will be a game day at Fort Devens Mass. Gaming hours will be 10am - 3pm.

I'll put on a WWI game 10-12 and a WW2 game 12:30 to 3. When I know what battles I'll run I'll post them here with directions to the event.

I haven't looked at the events list yet so I don't know if anyone else is running any Wings games. I am running 5 games, 4 Wings 1 Battlefront WW2. BF Friday afternoon, Wings 1 Friday night and 3 on Saturday starting noon.

I didn't see that in the listing of events -- I'll have to recheck and try to amend my registration. So far I'm in Dragons of the Reich (Sat 2-6PM) and 30 Sept., 1917 (Sat 7-11PM).

Fort Devens game day is almost here! Saturday 10-3. For the morning sessions I'll have a Zeppelin Staaken returning from a mission over Paris, afternoon will be a flight of HE111s crossing the channel in August 1940.

Many other games to get into besides the two I will put on.

Had a very low turnout Saturday but still enough to play thank goodness.

1st mission was a Zeppelin Staaken returning from a foray over Britain. ZS flew AI, I took an escorting DVII. 1st shot set my DVII on fire and it went down quickly. The ZS did escape and returned to it's base in Belgium.

2nd mission had a flight of 3 He111s being intercepted just after crossing the channel. All 3 went down and a dogfight ensued.






































Here we see the first shot taken at my 109...my lovely wife felt so bad for doing this...not!

Saturday was definitely not Eagle's Day. Still fun to put on and get blown up when I joined in at the end.
